Bill & Jan spent a week in Alligator Point with the bridge group. The Reeds, Taylors, and Cobbs rented this house, and the Bills set up a ham radio shack to try our hand at making mainland contacts on our home-brewed antennas. We successfully contacted other hams as far away as western Europe but were unable to raise hams in the Atlanta area.

This fella was a regular visitor. It took us a while to figure out that he is an immature Bald Eagle. Their coloration changes into the more recognizable white-headed scheme after they are four or five years old.
